Realm were commissioned by the London 2012 Bid Team to produce the CGI design renders for the Candidature File, a document to be submitted to the IOC as part of London’s overall bid for the 2012 Olympic Games. London’s iconic locations, grandstands, fields of play and London 2012 branding - these represented a vision of how London would be able to deliver the 2012 Olympic Games.

We created 33 atmospheric images for the Bid Book and media publicity surrounding the launch bid. Imagery focused on the London 2012 brand plus nationality-neutral crowds and technically correct sporting action. Dynamic photomontages were crafted to breathe life into well known, previously passive landmarks. We were subsequently commissioned to produce a series of stills showing the stadium during the Games and in Legacy Mode that were created to communicate one of the Bid's prominent differentiators for the press launch (prior to the final decision being announced in Singapore).

"Realm exceeded our expectations when they brought expertise, gravitas and a pragmatic approach to our London 2012 presentations. They were really flexible when faced with our ever-changing timescales and left no stone unturned in their comprehensive technical content - the final and desired result of which was a technically correct, realistic and inspiring images for the bid book at the final Singapore presentation video."
Deborah Jevans, Sports Director, London 2012
